Crockpot Tortellini Soup



Crockpot Tortellini Soup

Ingredients:

1 bag of frozen tortellini
1 small bag of fresh spinach
2 cans of italian style diced tomatoes
1 box or 4 cups or vegetable broth
1 block of cream cheese

Put all ingredients in crockpot, chunking up the cream cheese. Cook on low for 5-6 hrs

  1. Tried it - loved it! I'm thinking 5-6 hours is a little long, even on low. I'd go 4.5 hours so the tortellini won't get so soggy. Personal preference, I suppose. Flavor was great. I did add a little salt and pepper at the end. Thanks Nan!

  2. could you use a dutch oven to speed up cooking process if you don't have the 4 hours for a crock pot?
