Cookies For Preventing Sadness
2 Tbsp ground nutmeg
2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
1.5 tsp ground cloves
3 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 sticks of butter, softened
2 eggs
pinch salt
3/4 cup chopped or sliced almonds
Mix ingredients; using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop cookies about 2 inches apart on baking sheet; flatten cookies with a glass and bake cookies at 350F for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove cookies to a cooling rack to cool. Parchment paper makes repeated use of baking sheet easy and makes for an easy clean-up.
Makes approx : 3 Dozen cookies
The cookies are sweet, spicy, and they lift the spirits.
